    Thanks for responding to my wine question. In Wisconsin, we get our Cranberry wine from the Three Lakes Winery in Three Lakes Wisconsin. I agree with you that some of it can taste like cough medicine, but this winery has never let me down. Cranberry bogs are prevalent in that area. We get our Cherry Wine from Door County WI where they produce a-lot of cherries. Thanks again, and have a great Day!

    I believe this was from the Chateu Chantel Vineyard. I get my wines from Traverse City, Pentwater, a large selection from Florida when we were there and I have some wines special ordered. The cranberry wine I use for some reason is hard to find, but worht it. The flavor is excellent. I have noticed that some cranberry wines taste like cough medicine.

    I'm ok with 50 degree weather since I just moved here from WI 5 months ago. In fact as you know yourself 50 degree weather is " shorts" weather for people from the Midwest!

    Thank you for the C+R on the Emergencies. I actuly wanted to make a Sweet bread and did follow the list there were 4 items substituted And it turned out ok. I was amazed it did.

    I guess I miss spoke, I meant an IDENTICAL group or recipe. Of course I welcome even the slightest variation of a recipe as that may be the thing that makes it right for someone.

    Welcome to GR. You're off to a fine start!

    Four tips:
    1. I copy everything I type before I click SUBMIT. That is because of GR's wonkiness. Sometimes it won't take and you have to retype everything. This way all you have to do is paste it back and try again.
    2. When searching for certain things e.g. Groups, you have to click on the search button and not just hit enter. If you just hit enter it just takes you back to the same page.
    3. When responding to questions on one of your recipes, consider putting it under ALTERATIONS rather than COMMENTS. Comments made dissapear in time, alterations will remain with the recipe for future viewers to see -- in case they have the same question.
    4. Explore, Exchange and Enjoy
