About me
I'm a mother of 3 grown daughters and grandma to 7 wonderful kids. I've been married to my high school sweetheart since 1966. I learned to cook from my mother, great-grandmother and my aunt, who were all wonderful cooks. Therefore, I only know the "down-home" style and have never gotten into anything fancy. I love to bake cookies and cakes, but as for everyday meals, hubby is a meat and potato guy. I will sneak in a casserole once in awhile, but just to break up the monotony. That's one reason I joined here. After cooking for 42 years, I've run out of ideas. LOL
