    Used this recipe for yrs. I think it's the best
    But my mother did show me an improvement
    Try adding just a pinch of salt before boiling(approx 1/8 tsp)
    Seems to bring out the cocoa a bit. Thanks

    I made it with goat cheese (2.2lb log) and added: powdered sugar, brown sugar, vanilla (extra), nutella (2 tbsp.), and 1 cup of melted chocolate. Set up perfectly. Good call for a house of lactose intolerant people. Made our own crust too with graham crackers.

    I got the book in the condition it is in, and it makes me sad! I believe it is from the 40's -- but I could be wrong. I am making that guess because of the way it is written. The pages are just falling apart as I am typing my way through it!

    Thanks for the comment on the potato salad. Love this recipe. I peel the potatoes when they are cooked and cooled.

    would you believe he's just under two months and he's crawling already - he was 8 15 1/2 when he was born - he loves to sit in his surround chair and sit at the table - I told my daughter to be careful he would be nabbing the food soon - the pediatrician told them that he would be require more than just formula very soon- he's an awesome little man and his grammie adores him!!
