About me
I am a 67 year old grandma that loves to cook. I retired from State Department of Transportation after 27 years as an engineering tech. I describe myself as an intermediate cook only because I have never had any formal training in cooking. I prefer to cook dishes that most people would not try at home. I have a collection of about 200 cook books and over 20,000 recipes on discs.

Happy Halloween!

Hi, like everyone else has said, this is a very easy site to use. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to seeing your recipes.

Hello there! ^_^

Don't worry about it, you will learn quickly, this is one of the simplest recipe sharing sites I've come across and the nicest people too! ;) You'll be fine!

You wont have to send single recipes to your friends, simply following the instructions Rosemary wrote (below my note) and your friends will automatically be notified of your latest addition! ^_^

You just have to learn that method and everything else will come in time.

Your best bet is to become familiar with your MY STUFF page. There is a link to that page at the top right of every page on this website so you can always return home :)

Once on MY STUFF you can see all your friends latest submissions and whether you have any comments or new friend requests.

On the right panel there are TOOLS AND MAIL here you will find a link to your public profile which is the page that all your friends see click on VIEW YOUR FOOD PAGE.

That's about the most important stuff there is to know. The reast is easy - cook, share and enjoy! ^_^

I hope that helps! Have fun and don't worry about making mistakes, almost everything is fixable ;) Just ask for help when you need it.

Take care,
nemo

Hello GMGM, :) To SUBMIT A RECIPE, scroll up to top of this page to the far right, to MY STUFF. under your name. Click MY STUFF. This will take you to another page. Scroll down, on right side, you will see SUBMIT SOME GRUB, Click SUBMIT SOME GRUB, SHARE A RECIPE PAGE then pops up. Now you can share all your wonderful recipes! :) After typing in your recipe click SUBMIT. Then the page will change and you will see that your recipe is now LIVE and on the web, (at top of page). Click LIVE to see how your recipe appears, and check for any errors. *IF* there is an error, click EDIT at top of page, make changes, click SUBMIT again. Recipe is then LIVE again! On the MY STUFF page, friends' recipes will appear as the friend posts them, and by clicking on you can go straight to their newly posted recipe!

I hope this helps and I made it clear anough. I am looking forward to your recipes! Happy cookin'! Rosemary

I need some help. I joined this recipe site, but I do not have the slightest idea on how it works. I have been invited to be a cooking friend by several people, but don't know what do do. Do I send individual recipes to the cooking friend or is there a way to send them to the group? I do have so much to share, but don't know how to do it.

Glad that we cooking friends! I know you have some wonderful recipes, and I am looking forward to sharing recipes with you. Happy cookin'!

Thank you for being my cooking friend.. I also have a large collection of cookbooks but you're way ahead of me in getting so many recipes on disc.. I can understand having unfinished crafts and projects sitting around!!! Tomorrow is suppose to be a little cooler here so I want to try and cook some of the wonderful recipes I've collected here. I'm looking forward to sharing recipes..
