Hey! I just *had* to search for people in Squamish, as that is where I grew up, although I've lived in Colorado for the past ten years. My parents owned both stores in Brackendale before they retired.

Howdy, good to have you cooking with me. I love walking the aisles of Chinese, Japanese and Mexican stores, yep, could spend days there. So much stuff, but what is it used for :-(. JJ

Welcome, dear, left you some ideas on your party page. I have a rescue JRT. He was abused and mistreated by five different families before we got him at 11 months old. He is now 3 1/2 and has so many phobias and fears it is awful what they did to this poor dog. However, he is my sweetheart and is gentle and relaxed and quite loving with me. Such a loyal breed. But put anything with wheels around him and he attacks.....car tires while the car is moving, bikes, vaccuums, lawn mowers while running!!!! Apparently the previous owner's kids used to run things over him and chase him with their toys that had wheels. Poor Oliver. I've nearly had my arm dislocated while walking him when he lunges at moving tires. I now walk very early in the a.m. so there is little traffic. My neighbors resuce retired Greyhounds, they are such wonderful dogs. Good luck.

I seen your new group, there is a group called My Best Appetizers... It's on the 7th page in the Group section. There might be some good ideas on there for your party

You know, I've never looked for the ripples in the small bag, being an old school potato chip fan. Do they have the cheese popcorn and the "puff corn" up there? Take it you're not a baseball fan - the Twins are my favorite baseball team

I made rosemary potatoes and 3 mushroom veggie gravy just last night. Yummmmmmmmmmmmm! My veggie man husband thought he'd never be able to have "real" gravy again and was so excited the first time I made it for him. He's been a veggie for over 20 years and I've been for 15. Like any other recipe, just change the fat from animal to vegetable, season and thicken. Viola! Gravy! He still giggles (yes giggles) with delight when I make it for him! Maybe that will be my first recipe on my new site?! Though I had my heart set on Almond Joy Bites! Perhaps both!
