    great recipe! it's definitely ensenada style! thresher or mako shark fillets are the best if you want to go all the way out ensenada, bc authentic!
    I had to google "unsweetened condensed milk" though and found out that it's just evaporated milk

    Baked off a whole bunch of the meatballs then froze them in a bag. Now I just pull out however many I need, make the sauce. If I serve them over wide egg noodles I add sweet peas & mushrooms for variation if I feel like it. Yummy!

    Also, the sauce can be varied by using 1 cup of beef stock & 1/2 a cup of wine.

Please excuse the length of time to respond back to you, I stay quite busy and don't check in to Group recipes as often as I'd like, but I do check.You have some very interesting recipes and I look forward to checking them out.     Hello and welcome to Group Recipes! Well, I really hate to type this out loud but I have yet to know what Temecula wine is?? BBQ..what is your specialty?...I am just learning to grill and I absolutely LOVE my chipotle burgers and I love smoke pork shoulders with an awesome dry rub for pulled pork and slaw on a bun with southern sauce...of course =D. Glad youare here and hope you enjoy being here as much as the rest of us. Thank you oodles for the cooking buddy invite =D
