About me
I am retired, as is my husband, except that he has a nice little job now that is fun, so is busy five days a week. This is good. We have eight grandchildren, ages from 1 month to 16 years. When our family gets together it's all about the food. We have varying tastes, of course. I am an old-fashioned, meat and potatoes girl, while my three daughters are all way more adventurous. I am very overweight and am on a diet right now. My hubby is diabetic, so we have to watch what we're eating. It's not so much that I eat badly, it's just that I eat lots! If I like it, I LOVE it. I am finally learning how to sew and knit and do paper tole, all those things we didn't have time for while raising kids and working. It's lovely. We belong to a Golden Age Club in our little town, and have a potluck supper once a month, among many other events, and so I'm always looking for recipes for that. I guess that tells you something about me, or enough to start? Janet
