About me
I am 67 years old, retired and love to cook. There is virtually nothng I don't like to eat (within reason). I retired from the fluid power industry in 2001 due to physical disability. I have been happily married to the same wonderful lady for 42 years, have twin sons who are married--well one of them is--hopefully the other will tie the knot soon. The married son just gave us our first grandchild, Jack Fisher -------. We have two Boston Terriers at present and have had BT's for over over 25 years. I love to fish and have had so many hobbies I can't list them all. As soon as I can get it updated, I will post my best-shot-at-culinaty-fame signature dish, "Henry's Pickled Shrimp". It'll work a cook pretty hard, but the results are worth the trouble (If, like most cooks, you live for praise. LOL).

Thanks for being my buddy! Hope everyone is doing well

A fellow fisher is a friend indeed. FISH ON! If you are ever out west, look me up, I know where the fish live. Happy New Year.

Halbert, My G-ma Roberts had Boston Terriers all her life. She named each one Tammy....Tammy 1, Tammy 2, Tammy 3 and so on. I loved that woman dearly. She lived in Marathon Fl and was a real tough cookie. She also was a great cook with citrus and seafood. Grew up on her specialties. Can't wait to see the pickled shrimp recipe. I haven't met anything pickled that I didn't like. Just finished smoking some mackeral over Labor day, daughter's boyfriend brought over the whole mess. It was fun. Pleased to meet you and a very warm welcome. Toodles.

Hello Halbert, welcome to the foodie family and thanks for being my cooking buddy. I already know you know how to make great boiled peanuts. I am looking forward to seeing some of your recipes. What part of Tennessee is your wife from?
