About me
I'm happyplanter. I love to bake and make easy meals. Always looking for more interesting recipes, especially from England. I've been married for 29 years and have 4 children-all grown-up but youngrest son and his wife is coming home to live with us while they are in college. Need quick and easy recipes since they are always on the go. Love to make homemade bread and cakes from scratch. Also like decorating cakes for special events.

Not sure how many of my recipes would be considered authentic English, or even authentic for that matter. I tend to cook off the cuff, as it were, and later regret not having made careful measurements or even notes, and cannot for the life of me create an accurate printed recipe. This drives friends and relatives alike quite mad. I find that result quietly satisfying.

Hi, I like the recipes you had online. Will try them out. Do you have recipes fron England? I have a friend in England and she had a recipe for a zucchini I had that weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces and was very good especially the onion sauce that went over the ground beef.
