About me
I am a professional classical singer, writer, cyberspace denizen, Second Lifer, obsessed fan of Thoroughbred horse racing. I love the sensory and sensual delights of food and wine, though these days I tend to be more of an appreciative consumer of other people's cooking. Artistry, craftsmanship and creativity excite me, whether it's musical, visual or culinary. One of my favorite things about food is how it provokes good conversations and laughter with friends. I like California wines, Kentucky bourbon, cozy bistros, great cheeseburgers at a little dive in the West Village (whoever thought up the combination of beef, cheddar & beer deserves a medal), crab and lobster down at the shore, occasional splurges on haute cuisine, but my favorite is an intimate group of friends gathering in someone's home to collaborate on a great meal... I am here with the Tryst group from Second Life.

I dont know where they got that medium taste compatibility from but you couldn't describe my tastes in a better way than you did for your own :)! Almost Nothing beats a good Bourbon and an authentic Roquefort. When i get it, sometimes i secretly (not anymore!) thing that sex is over rated lol !! Check out my recipes, i have the feeling you might like some of them.

Hi Hayamaktoum and thank you for the invitation. I would be honored to be your cooking friend. I love your profile - you sound like a delightful person. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend.

I think we should be friends --

Oh, and the fact you like Ky Bourbon is a big plus in my book.. LOL

Well you certainly have broad tastes... that's a good thing. Now being a food freind with a guy from Kentucky is going to be a far cry from NY City.... LOL. You'll have to try my Stuffed Guinea Pig. Look it up, the recipe is on this site... (evil grin) Glad to be your grub bud.

You have a Happy Easter

sounds like you have great friends

I like the attention to detail: holding back the salt until the end.
The TLC pays off in the end.

This sounds so delicious and earthy! I would never have thought to try the prunes, but I bet they offer a really rich base to this. Can't wait to try it.
