About me
My name is Heidi and I'm from a small town in NB Canada...right on the border of Calais, Maine. I'm married and between my husband and myself we have 5 children, all grown and on their own. Now we have 5 cats and a dog to keep us busy. I just recently had to stop work and now I'm home and bored. I've never been a very adventurous cook. My Mom taught me everything I pretty much know and it's basic meals, such as meat and potatoes, baked beans and mac and cheese and corn scallop...That type of thing. Very basic. I would like to find something new but not too fancy as my husband is a bit fussy, lol

Thank you for checking out the double layer pecan pumpkin pie and for you very nice comment and rating. You could actually use whole milk in this recipe. It was an option but I did not enter it that way. You could even mix half milk and half cream as well. Let me know how it all turns out!
