About me
I'm a "journeyman" cook. My sister is studying to be a chef, but I am more or less a cook whose tastes vary from very vegitarian to carnivore depending on which way the winds blow. I have invented a few recipes, made up bunches on the spur of the moment never to be replicated again, tailor recipes to suit my tastes, and am always interested in new taste delights- or maybe even not so much.... I'm taste bud impaired for the last few years, and have had to re-learn how to taste food, a frustrating and sometimes expensive experiment. I depend on remembered tastes and have developed a taste for foods based on mouth feel first, various nuances of taste second. I have a boyfriend who loves to eat as much as I do, so we enjoy both my cooking and dining out.
