About me
Buna ziua! I'm 25, married (one year), Peace Corps volunteer in Romania. By day, I volunteer with a non-governmental organization dealing with local environmental problems. By night (or weekend!) I can usually be found in our local piata (open air market) looking for that next interesting local ingredient that will make my day...and my kitchen! My husband and I are HUGE fans of Mexican foods & try our darnest to duplicate our favorite tastes from home (southwest US) with Romanian ingredients. It's not always easy, but we are often successful! I am also a test cook for the PC cookbook Pofta Buna, so look for some yummy RO recipes coming soon!

Thanks for friending! It sounds vrey interesting living in Romania. Think of all the people trying to find ingredients to cook food from other countries, and there you are trying to find ingred. to get a "taste of home"!
