About me
Southerner, y'all...over fifty, so mind your manners (please). Prefer pencil to ink; love paper and paper craft...or just scribbling on a napkin. Have been sucked up and devoured by all things digital...most recently digital photography...especially fond of snapping pics from the passenger seat on the fly, as it were. Also like doing macro shots of small blooms and (yes, even) bugs. Member of AR since six household and five office moves ago...not always active...but ever eating and having to come up with "what's for dinner". Once I had a website...the background was papered with corrugated cardboard. Seemed right somehow. My real cooking debut was in sixth grade when my mom went back into the workforce and I was tasked nightly to "start supper". She would come in and take over as soon as she got in the door. We were a pretty good team, and I learned lots that way. My high school chemistry project was on reactive yeast...garnering a nice buttery "A", which was sorely needed and there was nothing "crumby" about it. ;o)

Four tips:
1. I copy everything I type before I click SUBMIT. That is because of GR's wonkiness. Sometimes it won't take and you have to retype everything. This way all you have to do is paste it back and try again.
2. When searching for certain things e.g. Groups, you have to click on the search button and not just hit enter. If you just hit enter it just takes you back to the same page.
3. When responding to questions on one of your recipes, consider putting it under ALTERATIONS rather than COMMENTS. Comments made dissapear in time, alterations will remain with the recipe for future viewers to see -- in case they have the same question.
4. Explore, Exchange and Enjoy.
