About me
Just an average Joe with a passion for cooking. I seem to have a knack for finding good flavor combinations. Only recently have I started to write down what I make. For years I just would whip something up and if it worked I would not know how to duplicate it. So I hope you enjoy some of the things I have found that work well. Rule number 1 - ALWAYS use fresh, high quality spices.

Thanks for the suggestions on the chicken and veggie carbonara...I knew it was not a classic carbonara, because I didn't add bacon (heaven forbid! LOL), and certainly you could...but I tend to experiment first and then try to figure out a name for what I have done. Call me crazy, everyone else does! Carbonara was as close as I could come to 'splainin it. :-D
