I just found this site. I am a former RN. I have a boyfriend who loves home cooking and get this...has never had a girlfriend who would cook for him. He loves my cooking however, he isn't very culinarily adventurous so it is sometimes a hit/miss with my concoctions. I do lots of research online and just try to stay away from or substitute for any of his absolute no's. I used to cook for my ex-husband and his family... a very large family. So, I've had to learn to scale down my average receipes. Plus, my beau is no-where near the big eater my ex was. He is into healthly...but he doesn't eat that much. Its challenging. But I love him and I love me...I want us both to have a happy, healthy remainder of life together.
