    We made these but substituted half whole wheat flour- they were deicious! Almost too sweet- will try a little less white sugar next time.

    im glad u liked them & enjoyed them:)
    i used QUaicker ordinary oats the one that comes in a sorry i dont know the brand that u used but i think the saltiness wont be from them..
    actually mine had a hint of saltiness in them but that what made me cling to them even more :)

    These cookies are amazing! My neighbor said it fell apart right in his hand...and my husband hasn't stopped eating them!!

    Mine did come out kind of salty. Is it the oats I used? I used Publix quick that a problem? Awkward saltiness aside, I love this recipe!

    For Scents for the Season Recipe...Haven't used anything it is only 2 Tablespoons, you could buy a inexpensive nip..:)

    You will love the French Toast sandwiches. I started making these in the 70's. It is ssoooooooo good. Just make the sandwich as you like and dip the entire sandwich in egg and milk. Of course confectioners on top!!! lol have a good day.
