    I grew up in central PA. I used to love the Harmes sugar cakes and I think Debbie-Jo's are very similar. Does this recipe turn out like those? I've tried making other sugar cookie recipes but the texture is not dense enough.

    They produce a lot of blueberries around here and we have found a major farm that we can buy the "culls" from for about $1.00 a pound! I don't know what they see wrong with them but I am thankful. We buy a lot of them and freeze them for recipes :-)

    Thanks for the info on Frangelico Liqueur ... it being hazelnut flavored. That makes me even more interested in your chicken dish. Hazelnut white sauce and pecan encrusted chicken.
