these were just okay for me. I used all purpose flour, maybe that was the problem. Also added cinnamon and raisins.

I just made these and they are AMAZING! I added alittle bit of choc chips to it and they gave it just enough sweetness. New fave in this house for sure!

Just made these and OH MY GOODNESS! These are DELICIOUS! I used white chocolate chips because that was all I had on hand, but it didn't matter. My husband said they tasted like a cinnamon roll turned into a muffin. One for the recipe books! Thanks so much! :)

Delicious! I added a cup of dried cranberries, which was a nice addition. My only suggestion is I think cinnamon would perfect this recipe. I'm going to add a little next time.

I made these for my husband today. I made them big and just tossed in some raisins because he asked so sweetly. He is not usually one to stuff himself on sweets but he has been sneaking these cookies all day. Great recipe and his old body needs that fiber. Thanks for the post.

Haven't seen you, or a lot of the other thinkin foodies, around much sense the "New and Improved" GR came along. More proof the the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and the KISS principle both still work. Tis sad. Leave a comment, if you're of a mind. RJ

Thanks for the comment. Yes, traveling is educational in many ways. I often have a hard time dealing with people who have a very narrow viewpoint. I have never been to Mallorca but I have been to Spain and a couple of my recipes are from there. Have a look at Mike's Costa del Sole in the drinks section.

I'm a strange duck and usually prefer old fashioned olive oil. more later.

I like where I live. It has some good and some bad but it's mostly good. If I ever thought of moving it would have to be to the southern Med. I do envy you all the great food.

You are correct Minnesota has a pretty harsh winter, but I've lived here all my life so I've adjusted. It gives us something to talk about, and if it gets too cold we just stay inside. People who live in Texas and Arizona stay inside in the summer when it's too hot. I volunteer teaching English language to immigrants and refugees, many are from Latin American and East African. It's really an adjustment for them, not ever having to buy boots, gloves and warm winter coats before. Many see snow for the first time. Our summers are beautiful, we have over 10,000 lakes in Minnesota. Some people who live in the city are able to have a second home on a lake in northern Minnesota. A summer filled with boating, swimming and fishing. Thanks for sharing your cooking talent

Inmaculada, I looked at your food blog, it is superb - so many wonderful recipes! I have only posted 4 here so far!! Seriously, it is a really professional production, I am going to spend many happy hours there. I can recommend it to everyone, the photos are beautiful! Even though my Spanish is not very good I can get 'the gist' and I have a very good English/Spanish dictionary too. Thank you for your kind offer of translation, I will probably take you up on that sometime. My husband Tom helps too -he studied Spanish (but that was a long time ago!!)
