About me
I am a stay at home mom from Sulphur, Louisiana. I have 2 very sweet little girls Molly and Avery. When I married 10 years ago I knew very little about cooking my husband was the cook then! But over the years I would like to say I have improved immensely! I won my first baking contest last year and was crowned Lake Charles stay at home mom baking queen of 2007!! lol Having little ones running amok has definitely changed how and what I cook. There is really no time for creativity at this point. I love to try new recipes so I am really excited about finding this site!!

Hello my New Sulphur Cooking Friend..you asked a question about the long grain rice...We don't always cook long grain,it depends on the dish...if steak and gravy it will be med grain..but for jambalaya I use long grain because the way it is cooked and you don't want it to be mushy..The recipe I posted it is really easy..an you will be just fine.
