About me
I've loved to cook since I was a teenager, but have not always had the time to spend on fancy meals. As a working mother for over 30 years, I've always looked for recipes with fewer ingredients or that are quick to put together, but also have a little wow factor. I'm a technical writer for a software firm, which keeps me really busy. My husband runs a line crew for an electric coop, and our kids are grown. Our son teaches physics, and his wife teaches science at the same high school. One daughter is planning to go into Optometry, and the other daughter is finishing up her nursing degree and is my last one at home. We're looking forward to our first grandchild in May 2008! We also have four adorable and loving kitties. They all came to us as strays that our kids brought home over the years. My avatar is a picture of our Little Kitty, who survived a serious frostbite. The picture shows her favorite sleeping position.
