    HI, love your recipes so far but have a question, on your spanish shrimp, either I'm misreading or there is something missing? You say to toss the chili peppers into the oil and let them infuse the oil with flavor and I'm all for that, but in the ingredients there are no chili peppers? So what kind? How many? I'm new to this site but loving it! Thegypsywidow (PS: Lived in Folsom Louisiana for a while, loved LA for sure yeah!)

    To all my foodie friends: I love this site and you all made me feel welcome. I have been absent for a while because the evil doer "cancer" keeps visiting me. Not to dispare!! Me and God will prevail. I am about to undergo my 2nd brain tumor removal in a year and a half. I survived ovarian, and lung cancer already! I love food and people, that's why I love this site.     I am so pleased that You accepted my
    invitation to be my 'Food Friend'~ I look forward
    to more conversation and recipe-sharing~
    I particularly like to share and visit with people who
    live or have lived in Louisiana~ In the '90's' I lived
    in a 100 year old 'Carriage House' in the Garden District
    of New Orleans right off St.Charles Avenue~
    This was one of the happiest times of my life~
    I will always consider Louisiana my 'HEART HOME'~I Miss Home~
    I cherish the friends I made while living there & of course
    the food that I learned to cook! some of my very best recipes
    were learned at this time~
    Now~ I am back living in Southern California~I have
    precious Family here which is THE Most Important thing to me~
