About me
We call our weblog "Jefferson's Table" because we are so inspired, as direct descendants of Thomas Jefferson, to search the world for the most fascinating recipes, menus, venues, chefs and the philosophy of food much like he did. Our Old Masini Adobe is Home to Cooking Classes featuring Star Chefs & Premiere Cooks. We also host many winemaker dinners and release parties offering famous vintages from Santa Ynez and the Central Coast. The old Masini Adobe is the place to experience the magical ambience of the oldest two story adobe in So. California and it’s amazing walls that glow with romance & history. This adobe is Montecito's most historic venue for regional food and wine events. Visitors and locals alike enjoy the classes or wine tasting dinners in a room almost 200 years old...carefully designed for a world class chef with the warmth of a vintage country kitchen. The Chefs demonstrate and create exciting dishes and then the class dines on the results with expert wine pairing.
