About me
I consider myself vegetarian but do occasionally enjoy seafood (once or twice a month). I like cooking with organic ingredients and unprocessed foods...that means whole milk, for example. Although I do sometimes use canned products for convenience, I really try to go for the least processed and take the extra time to do things like, rinse canned ingredients to eliminate sodium. I LOVE garlic, ginger and olive oil and, coming from a French American family my first step in most cooking is to "make a rue"--which in my case is olive oil, ginger and garlic, then figure out what the hell I'm doing from there. Not a big fan of sweets. Love traveling and trying new foods. Always working on a good hot sauce recipe.
