About me
Cilantro is the one flavor I couldn't live without. My second favorite taste is lemon, then lime, then ginger. I grow my own cilantro plants so I can just bite off a mouthful when I need it hehe, yah I'm strange like that! I have been a cilantro freak for 10 years, since mid high school when I first got a taste. I was a vegetarian all through highschool, so for about 5 years total. I periodically was vegan during this time. My then boyfriend liked to tempt me with his famous frequent BBQ's, and I finally broke down. He made me shrimp shish ka bobs for my first meat meal, then pork baby back ribs. I ate meat like a blood thirsty dinosaur, moving quickly along to my old childhood favorites, salami and brawns wager or liverwurst. Contrary to a wives tale I'd heard, eating meat again didn't make me sick, only hungrier. I love veggie meals, I still love fruit and veggies more than normal people, but I can't resist meat. I also still love tofu and bean curdish things, soy hot dogs... My hubbie and I spend a lot of time cooking, food shopping, eating, food prepping... Check out Pablodiablo.
