About me
I like to cook but I really love to bake. I have so many cookbooks and recipes that I've accumulated over the years. I still struggle with what to fix for dinner. We try to eat healthy foods. Chicken, ground turkey and fish are always a favorite. We worked in the food & beverage business for over 15 years. We appreciate a good meal and great service. There's nothing better than preparing a meal and watching everyone eat it all up. My hubby taught me how to cook good southern food. He leaves the baking to me. We are very active in our church. Hubby is a deacon and I teach Sunday School. I'm not where I'm supposed to be......but thank God I'm not where I used to be!!!! *****Remember - A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.****

Hi Jett! thanks a lot for your message, I miss you too, I will try to be here as in the old times, :)

Thanks for the friend invite. I'd love to share some recipes, but this thing won't accept them. I'm still gonna try until it does one of these days! Take Care. Oh yes-on a kitchen cabinet door I have a paper taped up that says "I am not what I want to be; I am not what I could be; I am not what I should be; but by the grace of God, I am not what I once was." Peace Be To You. Lisa

Thanks Jett...Glad you liked the profiterole one.

Thank you for the great rating on the mile high strawberry pie. Yule is generally the 21 of December. it is the longest night of the year, the change of seasons. I gave my X Christmas every year if I could do yule then bring him the kids. It worked out great. so now all we do is Yule, so while people are running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to do last minute christmas shopping, I sit in my home with my feet up all done and over with!!! This works out now so our family has a day to still get together on and then my kids go to their partners family's home for christmas! I love it when life works!!!

Thank you so much my dear Jett for your feedback on my pana cotta one. Missed you!
