About me
I am a 51 year old American opera singer and am a member of the chorus of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Germany. I've been living in Germany since 1987. Cooking is so many things. Although I tend to cook by recipe, I love cooking because it is a way to be creative. I also noticed that when you cook for people, even if it doesn't work out as well as you hoped, they are always touched be the effort. I like to use fresh ingredients, no condensed soups or cake or pudding mixes. When I see these things in a recipe, I look for another one. I like to make all these things myself. Besides cooking, my hobbies are genealogy, swimming, taking long walks, reading and sit-coms. There are tutorials showing every step of many of the recipes and a forum where the woman who runs the site answers your questions about baking in general and her recipes.
