About me
I am 28 years old, and live with my husband in Monterey, CA. We were married on February 1, and I joined him in Monterey in March. I have been enjoying Monterey’s perfect weather, beautiful scenery, and wildlife for the past couple of months. Originally, I am from Northern Virginia, which is very close to Washington, DC. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2000. Other than living in Blacksburg for four years, I never moved away from the DC area until recently. I am always looking for new recipes, and love to try new foods :-D

I lived in Monterey area a LONG time ago. My husband was stationed at Fort Ord. It is now gone. It is a wonderful area the Wharfs are great with the seafood.

This sounds really good. I tend to like my drinks a little sweeter and I love the taste of coconut so I might tweak this with a little cream of coconut.

Sounds easy to do, I'd have to leave out the potatoes, but I can definitely add the jalapenos! Love a stew. Good post.
