I have to admit... when I eat the cake I eat the middle of my slice and then eat the outer part with the lemon glaze. I love it, too.

Thank you for the comment on the cilantro pesto. I believe the difference between salted almonds and blanched almonds is that the blanched almonds have had their skins removed.
