About me
I read cookbooks like you read novels. Cooking for one is boring and wasteful, so I cook for friends every week. Not formal dinners at my place, requiring cleaning, but bringing food to the bar so the staff gets good meals, and cooking at M's with G on Sundays while 30 people watch the game. As W would say, we do it real big.

Yeah, i read cookbooks like novels too. in fact, when i do read a novel, it's good to have a cookbook closeby because i like to make and eat what my characters are eating!

Hello and welcome to the foodie family. Thanks for being my cooking buddy, I look forward to trying your recipes. You have some very tasty looking ones posted. Love the sound of your weekly gatherings, wish I lived closer. = )

I've yet to do an Iron Chef, but did once go up against an Italian from New York in, what I call, Meatball Madness. (i won)

I think that's why I like it ;)

I think you should come over right now and make this for me!! I'd make it except for my kitchen is filled with boxes because I'm moving. Great post!

Quinoa Black Bean Salad
Love this. Years ago in Colorado, I had my first taste of quinoa, and we love it! Great recipe. Thanks, and happy cookin'.

Baked Macaroni Amp Cheese
Sounds like a great thing my kids would try....I like the idea of mustard powder in it

Wow, yummy, I would expect to get served this in a five-star restaurant, but the steps seem simple enough to pull off at home. Great post!!
