    Thank you for the invite. I'm Italian and my husband is Chinese so it's double trouble for me, tonight pasta tomorrow rice and dumplings. I don't even want to think about Sunday family dinner. It's a good thing sometimes that I'm a beginner can you imagine if I could do it all at home. Frightening.

    Welcome to the zoo. Don't be afraid of cooking.... I'm glad you are back into it. Over the years I have made a couple of dishes that the dog walked away from... We all have, that is how you get good at this.
    I know what you mean about the Italian roots... Gotta have my pasta and rice! I did find that Dreamfield Pasta is really good and low carb, high fiber.. That helps keep me honest on my dieting! Well somewhat.. we do all our BAD COOKING on Saturday or Sunday..That is the fried stuff or stuff with cream and or gravy...
