About me
I've always maintained that the application of heat to a food constitutes cooking ie: boiling an egg, microwaving leftovers etc. Now that I am a suburban housewife with a small child I've discovered that not only do I LOVE to cook, I'm actually not that bad at it!! Oh, and staying at home all the time has meant that the short time that I get to spend with my best friend has turned into cocktail hour - regardless of the time of day....

I guess so...Only ever referred to them as beetroot but in all likelihood its exactly the same thing. Reddish-purple bulb vegetable?
