About me
I'm a Texan who now lives in PA - boy do they cook differently up here!!! I really miss a good steak - most other stuff I can deal with. (Well, can't get Shiner Bock or Blue Bell ice cream here, but other than that.....) I have always enjoyed baking and cooking, and experimenting with different things. My partner and I now have a 3-y/o who is quite picky, so our menus have changed drastically. Amazingly, she's just decided she likes cous cous. Go figure.... I found this website while searching for an oatmeal bar recipe so that I could perhaps make something cheaper and healthier than the Quaker oatmeal cereal bars that is presently the breakfast of choice. But since I'm always on the lookout for new things to try, I'll be checking out a bunch of recipes....
