About me
Just a good ol' girl, raised in the heartland of Kentucky's bluegrass region. I learned to cook watching my grandmothers and mother, and even picked up a thing or two from my father as well! I enjoy lots of fresh foods and organics in my cooking, from natural meats to organically grown produce and fruits. I've substituted healthier oils and a few other things in place of regular ingredients in many regular Southern-style dishes, and found that I've felt better and had better check-ups with my doctor. Gotta love it when you can have all the taste and healthier diet together! :-) I'm a massage therapist, energy medicine practitioner, and divorced mother of two sons, ages 6 and 4. They seem to love my cooking...maybe you will, too!
