About me
Greetings! Im LaDonna and I've traveled all over the world to places including Hautes Pyrenes, France: Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan; San Jose, Costa Rica: Rio and Bahia, Brazil (my fav) London, Cairo, Egypt and Dakar, Senegal....If there is anything I miss most off all these places is the FOOD!!!!! Which would explain my new obsession with these wonderful national and international recipes that I love to try to prepare for my family. (Sigh) Every bite, aroma and flavors just takes me back to a place where I just thank God I had taste buds and a passport! Three beautiful children and a great husband later, I still love to travel only this time through my kitchen and I could use some good cooking friends! Thank you and be well...fed.

Hope you and your family have had a good week-end.

Hi! Sorry about the x-inch it's suppose to be 1/4-inch thick, I have changed it in the recipe, I don't know how I missed it when I posted it. Thanks for catching it.

Hi, Ladocastro! A pleasure meeting you, and I look forward to sharing recipes with you. As for growing herbs and veggies, please don't give up! It's great to walk outside and pick something fresh for dinner! Happy cooking, and welcome! Your little boy is adorable, too, I might add :+D

Hey there Lado! and so happy to be your friend!! You and baby are so beautiful, BTW!! :) As you submit recipes, I think you will find we have LOTS of food interest in common..I am very good at Southern, soul, and comfort foods. I cook a bit of all though.
Lets see your food!! :()))

Thank you so much for your nice comment on my Creamy Pesto Shrimp (or Crab)! Isn't it the best?! I am very happy that you enjoyed it!

Hi Ladocastro. Thanks for stopping by my page. I think as far as the almonds are smooth, it shoudn't matter too much if they become pasty. That's what we're gonna do with them in the end anyway...I think it should work.
You can find more recipes on my blog @ http://passionateaboutbaking.blogspot.com/

Wow, what a pretty picture. I hope you enjoy the site. It is so much fun.

Sounds like a great recipe. I can't eat shrimp but my son does.

Dandhas Brazilian Coconut
Hey, I hope all is well. In regards to the coconut stew I normally dont saute tomatoes but when I do this dish I just throw it together. It comes out good either way. Enjoy!
