About me
My husband and I were raised in Alaska but we've lived outside for a few years now. We like the Chicago area well enough but I'm not a fan of suburban sprawl and have been on the lookout for the perfect eatery since I moved here. Guess I'm hard to please and would just as soon cook for myself. I like what I like the way I like it - wouldn't necessarily call it picky, just particular. I've always loved cooking and I have a cookbook fetish.

I also make various soups and breads and prefer my own cooking to what I can get out in a restaurant especially living in England. It is a much different experience eating out here compared to home and I know I can't get out what I make at home. Also love collecting cookbooks but running out of room. :)
