About me
Female who loves cooking, but sadly does not get enough chances and time or do it. --------I'm a big cheese lover...a shame it's pricey and fattening. I have recently gotten into sausage and pastas more. I love casseroles and foods with dips and sauces. I hate dry poultry and my stomach lurches trying to eat plain chicken for some odd reason. Likewise, I cannot eat Turkey plain, yet I can eat it blended with dressing and gravy - heavenly! ---------For desserts I've always loved custards and puddings and pies...not much of a cake person but enjoy making those as well. -------I love making breads. I have too many cooking machines taking up room in the kitchen...yet I honestly use all of them. ------I'm a rare breed for tea. I LOVE tea, and have always been raised in the South. I love sweet iced tea but am rare in that I also love hot teas. So far I can't find anyone else locally that loves both! -------I sort all of my recipes in recipe boxes, preferring their sentimental value. All cookbook recipes and tips go into the boxes or my matching cookbook binder. This way I don't have to sort through cookbooks to find the right recipe. All online recipes go in these as well. I have 3 total. --------Why can't this website gets a more functional about you section, where you can at least have spaces? :(
