About me
I love all kinds of soup and stew, bake bread and pizza pretty regularly and I even once made bagels (awesome!). I have over 40 cookbooks, several online "recipe boxes" and loathe fast food. I'm pretty much the reverse of my grandmother--no convenience foods, nothing pre-cooked, powdered or jarred for me! I've been cooking since I was a child (ack! 25 years?)--some sort of junior cookbook my mom got me. I'm really comfortable in the kitchen and rarely make a recipe as written, even my own!
