I love recipe books, but once I've tried something new I just can't help changing it to my own tastes. I can be quite adventurous, but mostly my cooking leans towards rich, filling dishes. we have nothing like it in NY...

oh -we have loads of good prepared foods....
but totally different styles and ingredients for the most part...
the Brits just do 'hearty' so well...
and so many CHEESES!!!...
