About me
Much like all of you, I love to cook and bake, and my diverse palate for food stretches throughout most cuisines of the world. I enjoy shopping in international grocery stores to find the necessary ingredients to create some of my favorite authentic dishes. However, living in Chicago, with all this great city has to offer in restaurants, I probably dine out more than I do cook. Believe it or not, I'm not too fond of chocolate, and I prefer pie over cake, unless of course it's cannoli cake! I have read a few member's profiles and discovered that I am not the only foodie who reads a cookbook from cover to cover..lol My other passions are that of music which varies in a wide range of genres, gardening, repairing computers, photography and fractal art. I'm a fan of the television series, Lost. I'm also a member and artist at Caedes.net, one of THE best sites for desktop wallpapers. I encourage you to check it out. Drop me a note if you're a member so that I can check out your gallery. To all my new found foodie friends, thank you for sharing all your wonderful recipes with me, and may the closeness of friends, the comfort of home, and the unity of our nation, renew your spirits in the coming New Year! Oooh, and please join my new GR group, *Dressings For Your Salads*. Enjoy and Happy Cooking!! :)

I'm thrilled that you and your friends love that banana bread recipe. I agree, I think it's the best ever! I get the same requests from my friends :) Cheers

Hi Lori, thank you so much for the nicest comments, high ratings and beauty flags on my recipes! Appreciate you taking the time to check them out, girl! I never put any herbs in the Parmesan crackers, although I think some rosemarry, thyme or oregano would be just fine in there. Have a wonderful day!

Hi! This is just a belated "thank you" for the nice comments about my pizza recipe! Hope you had a great weekend :)

Lori Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment on my delicious recipe Marinated Peppers With Crusty Grilled Bread I appreciate them.
I also use plastic bags for sweating roasted peppers however in this recipe I use six large Bell peppers along with the JalapeƱos.
I would have needed to many of the plastic bags so I went with the alternative this time.

I see from Vickie's comment you grow tomatillos like I do in the summertime they are so prolific and delicious in all types of recipes. Do you can them , freeze them foe winter use?
Again thank you for your comments.
Have a great evening.
Michael

I have a difficult time finding particular cuts of lamb. Do you think that I could use slices from a whole leg? Or do you know what cut the "steaks" you use are?
