About me
Hey! I love to cook when there's time, but lately it doesn't seem that there's much. I'm just getting used to cooking for 3 instead of 5, since my daughter and her friend (our bonus kid who lived with us) went off to college. Love to cook for a crowd of church friends. I am very happily married with a 15 y/o son still at home. Love the Lord with all my heart. Soon to start another full time management job, while I'm also establishing a bath, body & candle home party plan. Beautiful products -if you're in the Tampa area I'll invite you to my open house!

Knock, knock. Have I just been missing you?

That sounds good, i may try that myself. Thanks

Thanks for the comment on my On-the-Spot Pork Chops. I tend to overdo it with the spices. Being a diabetic, I find that adding alot of spices and seasonings makes my food more enjoyable. Hope you try and like the recipe. Your idea for gift jars is cool, I had been thinking of jarring up Jim's salsa and adding some of the rubs we've got recipes for and doing the same gift basket idea.....aren't we the creative ones!! Nice to meet you. KW

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours.

Hi,
Thank you for the cooking buddy invite. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I hope to spend more time here after Thanksgiving. I miss Florida............ARGH!!!!

The reason my punch was in the chocolate group was because it is right before the Christmas and I hit it in error!

Thanks Loring, for you comment on the How Easy Christmas Apricot Tidbits Recipe!

Trying to figure out a safe way for you to grind the apricots...maybe you can use a neighbor's processor, or do you have access to an older hand-turned grinder that locks on side of table, or a GREAT IDEA...ask for an early gift! :) I surely hope something works out for you. Think the gift idea is the best!! :) I so hope that you get to make them. Happy cookin'.

Hi Loring - I think that's why the walking tacos are so popular at our tailgates...definitely reminds you of "food on the run", just like college! Thanks for you comments -

Mexican Dinner
This is really good! My kids loved it (3 and 15 months - it's hard to find something that gets them to clean their plates but this was awesome!) Even my husband loved it.

Pot Roast Layered In A Sl
I made this for a crowd the other day. Everyone loved it, and my picky daughter stole all the leftovers(not much left) to take back to college!
