    You must have been rich when you were poor! And more creative than I was 27 years ago when I was newly married and poor! We used to have spaghetti with "sauce" made from dollar store ketchup and spices!

    Thanks for the comment on my On-the-Spot Pork Chops. I tend to overdo it with the spices. Being a diabetic, I find that adding alot of spices and seasonings makes my food more enjoyable. Hope you try and like the recipe. Your idea for gift jars is cool, I had been thinking of jarring up Jim's salsa and adding some of the rubs we've got recipes for and doing the same gift basket idea.....aren't we the creative ones!!     Thanks Loring, for you comment on the How Easy Christmas Apricot Tidbits Recipe!

    Trying to figure out a safe way for you to grind the apricots...maybe you can use a neighbor's processor, or do you have access to an older hand-turned grinder that locks on side of table, or a GREAT IDEA...ask for an early gift! :) I surely hope something works out for you. Think the gift idea is the best!! :) I so hope that you get to make them. Happy cookin'.
