Actually, no. I have not used any other fish with this cream sauce. As for halibut in particular I have mostly used a Cajun sauce, Meunière. Meunière Sauce is a brown butter sauce with added exotic flavors. It is wonderful with baked white fish or any oily fish fillets or steaks.

I'll post it for you. When you try the cream sauce with halibut, let me know how it comes out. Since you get halibut, you probably can get tuna steaks as well. Check out my recipe for Tuna Steaks Ricardo, That is a fantastic dish and will give you all kinds of ideas. Happy eating.

    Hi lucksgirl,

I am now 72 years old and for the last few years, I have experienced being pushed aside, stepped over, insulted and generally ignored. I have had a life-long passion for cooking, plain and fancy. I wanted a place to leave some of the recipes and knowledge I gained over the decades of my life. I have found just that at GroupRecipes.com.

Furthermore, it is people like you and many other Foodie Friends who have helped me achieve what I wanted. Thank you, and again, I thank you for being so nice and complimentary and I wish you Happy Eating!

Hi There! Thank you so much for sharing your cheesey chicken recipe. I was going to make it tonight when I got home from work but my wonderful hubby Brian AKA Sugar Bear followed your directions and had it in the oven. The only thing we did different was we had it on egg noodles instead of mashed potatoes. We're dorks and forgot to buy the potatoes. It was quite yummy my friend. FABULOUS! Have a great evening! :)

Looking forward to sharing some recipes in the future. I'm going to make you guacamole over Christmas (but I'm going to have put some chilli in it as well).
