About me
To me food is all about love, celebration, family, home and belonging. Food evokes memories. Food brings people together. Food is sensual; it appeals to all the senses. Cooking is a passion. Cooking is therapeutic. Cooking is fun. ~ I love to laugh and look at life with a sense of humor and surround myself with folks who feel the same. Good company is a gift that I embrace. ~ I bought a 1950's house a couple of years ago and am slowly restoring it. It's modest, but it's mine and 'home'. I love growing herbs, working in my yard and just being outdoors in general. ~ I am originally from East TN (near Chattanooga) and graduated from the University of TN (go Vols!). ~ I'm a corporate accountant working in revenue management. I love reading, photography, art, do-it-yourself projects, baseball, college football and basketball, history, fishing, music, movies - and of course, cooking and co-cooking. ~ I have lived in Central Florida for almost 11 years and have no children. I was married once upon a time in a galaxy far, far away, but have been divorced for about 1.2 decades, or 12 in divorce years. I am having a lot of fun and doing things I've always wanted to do and trying new things as I find them. Life is good....enjoy it. ~ Vickie

Thank you for the 5 on the fries. I really need to try them soon. But it sounds like they taste. I just hate to eat fat anymore and I know if I make them for the family I will eat them! Have a grat day!
