About me
Slowly, but surely, I'm coming back to GR. I've missed everybody but have been through so much in the last 3 months. Trying to start over. Major changes including moving, trying to heal and getting my motorcycle license. Yep, I think I'm going through a mid life crisis on top of everything else. Bought a used Honda Rebel to practice on. Wish me well. ---------------------Well to update ya'll ---- My husband lost his battle with cancer at 2:10 am July 29th. He fought so hard for almost two years, but at least he got to come home for 10 day before he passed. Cancer is such a horrible disease. My wish is that none of you ever have to go through it. I'm getting better day by day, at least we knew this was coming and we got to say our goodbyes and love yous. I've got wonderful sisters, family and friends that have really held me up through us. Thanks to all of you for your thoughts, prayers and sweet words. ----------------------------------------------------------------I'm 47 and work full time. My hubby's 54 and is currently fighting lung cancer. I'm always trying to find good fattening things that he loves to eat, but lighter fare for myself. It's a constant battle but since we both love food it's an enjoyable quest. I've got a grown son, but no grand babies yet. Looking forward to that, but not too soon. My sis is mrtnzangel8 and got me started on here. Love the site. Lots of great people here.
