    I've been making this recipe since the mid 70s. I use beef bouillion instead of chicken which I like much better. Ni leace out the sugar or just put a pinch. Lots of green onions and cashews make this dish. I also serve Rica A Roni Stir Fried Rice which is real easy to make ahead. I'm fixing this for Christmas due to the many requests. Sooooo good.

    I totally forgot about his recipe. I used to eat this when i went to catholic elementary school in the cafetaria. It was served with white bread buttered. It was a delicious memory. I made it and withheld the cumin and it was amazing. Cheap and filling!

    Changed chili powder to 2 tsp paprika, added 2 tsp agave sweetener, used 3 tsp beef base instead of bouillon cubes, added 1 tsp worchestershire sauce, added 1 tbl tamari soy sauce, omitted salt listed in the recipe, added 1/2 tsp sriracha hot sauce, added one rib of celery chopped, added 1 bay leaf (removed later), and used Dream Fields elbow mac to make this low carb for the diabetics in the house.

    Thank you for accepting to be my cooking buddy, I am printing off all of my cookie recipes so I can bake today. We are under a weather advisory expecting to get one quarter inch of ice today, so I can not think of any other way to spend the day so I will be baking all those holiday cookies for the Family.
