About me
I enjoy all kinds of flavors and experimenting with combining them in different ways. I love baking. I have a problem with everything having cheese on it! By that I mean, I think one of our nations weight problems is that people have the idea that cheese has to be a part of most every dish. I like to find great ways to make fruit and vegetables more tasty. I am married and have a tiny Pomeranian dog, Vixen, that I am nuts about! I also have two grown step sons and a daughter who has my very precious grandson, Mason. My husband is a cattle rancher who thinks steak and potatoes are perfection in a meal! I enjoy playing bridge, reading, decorating, water and flower gardening and I love to travel. I have become a small time, novice, wine collecter. I enjoy painting, which I do rarely, but hope to get more active, this winter. I also would love to take up sewing. I sewed several years ago and remember being way tooooo obsessive with perfection in the dumbest things. I think I just am ready to enjoy doing it and thinking it's good enough. I don't want to spend my time ripping seams out! I love to entertain and try to do so often. My husband loves it too, however he really has no idea how to be helpful when we do have guests. He likes to be the entertainer, which he is really good at doing, he always makes people laugh! He looks like Teddy Roosevelt and is totally charming. We have been married for nearly a dozen years and from the moment we met 16 years ago we knew we were with whom we belonged. But we both wanted to turn and run!! It took us about two months before we were able to like each other beyond the feeling of panic. I am blessed, he is truly a very good man. His name is Keny.
