About me
I've been retired for a couple of years now and always seem to be busier than I was when working! We just moved to La Pine Oregon from Redding, CA to escape the summer heat. After 25 years of summer sweltering we decided to make the move and apparently did so at the right time. We're enjoying the cooler weather and local wildlife (except for the dang mosquitoes). My husband enjoys all kinds of food so he's a willing taste tester for any new recipes I want to try. I have the best arrangement, he agreed that if I cooked he would clean up and I must say he does an excellent job! I have one daughter and two wonderful grandkids (Lea is soon to be 19 and Alex is almost 15). Unfortunately, we moved farther away from them, but we'll still see each other, just not as often. Looking forward to lots of bread making and comfort food this winter.
