About me
I'm a former tech geek turned floral design manager/event designer. I love to cook and entertain! I'm not a vegetarian but into veggies big-time. I grow my own herbs - and have a yard filled with lavendars and catmint, rosemary and chives, basil and mint - though I try to keep my mint to pots b/c it takes over EVERYTHING and wears out its welcome FAST. I love farmer's markets and all natural things from New England. I'm a member of Slow Food and the Vermont Fresh Network and try to eat/cook local whenever possible. I'm an independent restaurant food geek - and avoid chains and big business retaurants whenever possible. My faves in Boston are: Oleana (in Cambridge), The Butcher Shop, B&G Oysters, No. 9 Park, Tryst (in Beverly), Hammersleys, Oishii (the one in the South End), Flatbread Company (in Bedford), Mandrake (in Beverly), Vita Mia (in Saugus), and so many more all over the country. When I travel, it's all about food...
