About me
I am happily married, a mother of 6 children ages 21 to 37. I have 9 grandchildren ages 1 to 16. I really enjoy cooking. I like one dish meals and slow cooker meals because I work and they save time. My mom is a terrific cook and my grandmother was too. Their cooking style of measure nothing, eyeball everything used to intimidate me. I learned to cook from cookbooks. Now that I'm a confident cook, I lean towards their style of cooking. One of my favorite dishes is my mother's Chicken Paprikash with dumplings. It took me years to get it right, now it's delicious just like mom's. When I figure out the ingredient amounts, I'll post the recipe.
