Oh, I hope you feel better soon! I know what feeling sick all the time is like, I guess we have to savour each moment that's good!

I was just thinking that maybe you could try to make the carrot cake with Brown Rice Flour, Is there a reason why you can't use wheat flour? I added another recipe you might like, called Gingerbread squares and those can be made with Brown Rice Flour.

Hello. Wow, your summer solstice sounded good! I didn't do anything as it was a bit wet and miserable here... Englands not always like that though, honest!! Lol. Sounds like your daughter is getting a taste for spicier food, yay!! Is it still really hot there? 100 degrees,,,,,,OOOH!

Hi
I'm sure you could make the carrot cake cake recipe that I posted with pastry flour, I have made it with just whole wheat flour before, leaving out the white- Also if you like maybe you could try using oat flour, I just grind up whole oats in the blender to make my own flour.
PS does your child like miso? my son also loves seaweed, but he likes it in miso. How do you prepare it?

Hello there!! Thanks for the invite. Try the momos with different vegetables, or just cheese, potato and onion. Or maybe even with seaweed!! I think you can adapt them to your daughters taste without too much trouble. I love them with a good spicy sauce!! ;)

Hi mamaclare, so pleased you enjoyed the macaroons - they really are the simplest! I loved your idea of adding mutmeg; I might make some at the weekend for when we go visting.
