About me
I was a cook for close to ten years while going through school. I worked as a sous chef, a wood burning stove cook (that was weird) and a caterer for places ranging from fancy cocktail lounges, to not so fancy eateries, to hip restaurants. I'm always working to make healthy meals for my family but I'm not afraid to use a little butter or cream from time to time if it means something will taste better. I love food tv, I adore food books. Organic is my middle name. Local is my last name.
